In current economic Malaysia still pay RM3.5b for French warship and the warship cost at only...

PKR's Rafizi asks why the public has to pay so much for something tailored for Russia's naval strategy.

A Voice of Malaysian by Gill S Manjit

this is one of 2 Warships that were custom built for the Russian Navy. France decided not to deliver them due to the Russian backed Crimea Occupation and later the Sanctions imposed on Russia by the EU for supporting So called rebel forces in the Ukraine war. The reason why this ship is so expensive is because France had to pay a very high Penalty clause for not Delivering them to Russia.

So again we see Malaysia the Nation being Shortchanged by the Powers to be. Question that need to be cleared up first is WHO are the Middle-men and HOW MUCH WILL THEIR COMMISSION? Will there be some Bil
lion Dollah Windfall "DONATION" from some FRENCHMAN this time around?

If I am not mistaken these ships are also supposed to be able to break through froxen Artic seas and they are Customised for Attack Helicoptors.
BTW these 2 French Mistral-Class Warship were each priced at EU600 million each and due to the NON sale to Russia, could be very much cheaper. Do the maths How much this deal is actually worth.

Russia's Purchase of French Mistral-Class Warship

Russia and France signed a 1.2 billion euro (some $1.5 billion at the current exchange rate) deal for two Mistral-class ships in June 2011. The first carrier, the Vladivostok, is expected in Russia by the end of 2014. The second ship, the Sevastopol, is supposed to arrive in 2015.

The Mistral-class helicopter carrier Vladivostok is seen at the STX Les Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard site in Saint-Nazaire

Do you have any word to tell Malaysia Government now?
