T'GANU SHOCKER: FORMER MB VOWS TO EXPOSE NAJIB'S 'BIG SECRET' AT THE 'RIGHT TIME'
Former Terengganu menteri besar Ahmad Said is still waiting for the right time to reveal his “big secret” on Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
“Just wait. When it is the right time, I will reveal it,” Ahmad told Malaysiakini when contacted today.
One day after failing to table a motion of no confidence against his successor Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, online portal Free Malaysia Today had quoted Ahmad as saying that he has kept the secret in order not to shame Najib.
“I don’t want to reveal the real story in Terengganu now. If I reveal it, everybody will be ashamed, the PM will be ashamed,” he was quoted as saying on March 9.
Ahmad also said it was because of the ‘big secret’ that he had gone all out to save the people of Terengganu.
Terengganu state legislative assembly speaker Mohd Zubir Embong had on March 8 rejected Ahmad’s motion of no confidence against Ahmad Razif, arguing that it requires a 14-day notice.
Ahmad, however, accused Zubir of “misusing his powers” and said, “If I say I want to kill you, will I be giving a 14-day notice?”.
Asked if he would reveal it at his press conference next week, Ahmad insisted: “You just wait.”
Ahmad is expected to hold a press conference in response to Ahmad Razif who had reportedly withheld allocations for the Kijal constituency.
This was after Ahmad Razif said Ahmad no longer portrays the image of a government state-assemblyperson. - M'kini
