Bersih 2.0 has submitted the 10-day notice required under the Peaceful Assembly Act for its Nov 19 rally to the police, the election watchdog said.
It said in a statement that rally participants would meet at Dataran Maybank in Jalan Bangsar and Masjid Negara before walking to Dataran Merdeka.
It said the rally would start at 10am and end at 6pm. Some 1,000 people would form a security team with 80 medical staff on standby.
It said the notice for the rally had been submitted to the police at Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur, Brickfields and Dang Wangi stations.
"Bersih 2.0 will follow up with the police in the coming week and we will extend our full cooperation to the authorities," said the group.
"We hope that the police will work with us and provide manpower and security on Nov 19," it said.
Bersih 2.0 said that threats of violence would not deter them from taking to the streets on Nov 19.
"We must stand united in the fight for a better Malaysia," it said.
