Petrol prices up by 3 sen, diesel up by 2 sen



PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will go up from midnight, with a 3 sen increase per litre for petrol while the price of diesel goes up by 2 sen.

The price of RON95 petrol will increase to RM2.20 per litre from RM2.17 previously, while RON97 will cost RM2.50.

Diesel, meanwhile, will increase to RM2.13 per litre from the previous RM2.11.

The new prices will be in effect from Oct 25 until Nov 1.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect on March 29 this year. Prices of petrol and diesel have been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
