PLUS Malaysia launches live traffic update app; 

shares Travel Time Advisory chart

PLUS Malaysia Berhad today officially announced its ‘PLUS Expressways’ app available on both Android and iOS platforms. This came just in time for the Chinese New Year celebrations where many parts of the expressway often experienced heavy congestions even during non-peak hours.

The app enables PLUS operators the ability to disseminate the latest highway traffic information directly to drivers. Among the many useful features include live traffic updates, video feeds, estimated toll fares, as well as finding the nearest petrol station or rest area. Here’s the full list of what you can do with the app:

> Live Traffic Updates on the latest traffic conditions
> Live Video Feed along PLUS highway and Rest-Service Areas
> Receive active push notification on real-time highway events
> Access your PLUSMiles account for your rewards & redemption information
> Research for your trip and route on PLUS highways in Malaysia
> Check out the interesting places to visit and eat in Malaysia
> Find the ATMs, Petrol Stations and facilities that is near you
> Check the estimated toll fares for your journey
> Be informed of latest happenings and events from PLUS Malaysia
> PLUSTrafik Updates on traffic conditions & incidents along PLUS highways

A no-brainer if you’ll be driving back to your hometown in the next few days. Get it for Android oriOS. Both versions also work on tablets.

The new app is in addition to the existing PLUS traffic communication channels including the many electronic boards, PLUSTrafik Twitter account, the 1800 88 0000 PLUSLine, and radio stations.
