Malaysian Meteorological Department issued a strong wind warning, expected to continue until Sunday (22 June). It today issued proclamation noted that the speed between 40-50 km of strong winds and 3.5 meter high waves would engage. Boats, marine leisure and water sports activities should be avoided.

大马气象局对浮罗交怡、玻璃市、吉打、槟城、沙巴古达海域和沙巴西海岸发出一级强风巨浪预警，料持续至星期日（22日）。 气象局今天发文告指出，时速介于40至50公里的强风及3.5米高的巨浪将危及小艇、海上休闲及水上运动。
