Crocs Alert!
Two more bodies believed to be related to Thursday's helicopter crash have been found by the search and rescue team in Lingga, Batang Lupar, the second and third bodies to be found after the body of a deputy minister was found on Friday (May 6).
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Farhan Sufyan Borhan confirmed that one of the bodies was found at 8.34am on Saturday (May 7).
The body, which was still strapped to the seat, was found near Seduku Island, about 10km from the search and rescue operations centre.
The remains were flown to Kuching at about 9.55am by Nuri helicopter.
Then, Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi tweeted at around 11.45am that another body had been found.
"The third body has been found in Lingga. Arrangements to fly it (the body) to the Kuching district police headquarters are underway.
"I am at the Kuching Hospital mortuary, waiting for the arrival of the third body," he said in his tweets.
Meanwhile, security force involved in the Search And Rescue (SAR) mission in Sungai Batang Lupar have been reminded to be careful of crocodiles in the area.
Sarawak deputy police commissioner Datuk Abdul Aziz Yusof said the river stretch from Lingga to Pulau Seduku, Batang Lupar is known to be crocodile infested.
Pulau Seduku is a crocodile sanctuary in Sarawk and swamps near Taman Negara Maludam is also well known for crocodiles. However, no crocodile were spotted at meantime.

On Friday, the body of Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Noriah Kasnon was found at the riverbank of Batang Lupar.
She was travelling with her husband Asmuni Abdullah, Kuala Kangsar MP and Malaysian Palm Oil Board member Wan Mohammad Khair-il Anuar Wan Ahmad, ministry secretary-general Sundaran Annamalai and personal bodyguard Ahmad Sobri Harun, as well as the pilot of the flight, Captain Rudolf Rex Ragas.
Datuk Noriah was buried at her hometown in Batu 12, Sg Burong, Tanjung Karang at 1.45am on Saturday.
