Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos will be called up for questioning over his "Darah dibalas Darah" statement, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
Khalid said that Jamal's statement could be deemed as seditious.
"We will investigate the matter without fear or favour. He will be called up for questioning, " he told The Star on Tuesday.
On Sunday, Jamal was punched in the face during a scuffle between the police and his group of Red Shirts at Ampang Point.
He then said in a Facebook post "Darah pasti diganti dengan DARAH. (Blood will be paid with blood)" a few hours after the scuffle.
The posting was accompanied by screen capture of a news article showing Jamal sporting a nosebleed.
