KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30, 2016:
The political atmosphere in the country was compared yet again to the Game of Thrones television series by the Prime Minister’s brother.
CIMB chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Nazir Razak said on his Instagram today that the “parallels to GoT” continues.
“What lies ahead?
The future terrifies me: I just can’t see how our institutions can recover, how our political reputation can be repaired,” he said on his post which included a picture from the Game of Thrones.
He also gave his two cents’ worth on what needed to be done.
“I think we have to pause, fix our moral compass and deal with our structural problems holistically.
“I believe we need National Consultative Council 2 now,” he added.
Mohd Nazir had previously compared the political turmoil in the country to the Game of Thrones, stating that we should preserve and protect the integrity of our institutions.
