Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has instructed Sultanah Aminah Hospital to use the royal ward for patients after the intensive care unit (ICU) was badly damaged in Tuesday’s fire.
The Ruler said this when he visited the hospital following the incident which claimed the lives of six individuals.
Sultan Ibrahim arrived at the hospital from Mersing at 1.50pm and was briefed by various agencies and hospital staff on the incident.
Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah also visited the hospital at 12.30pm.
