A Johorian man was arrested after splashing oil and set a woman on fire, after his attempts to court her failed.
Reported by SinChew and picked up by a local Facebook page, the man who has been courting the victim, had asked for the money he spent on her after his attempts failed. When the victim refused, he robbed her of her valuables and then set her on fire.
According to a Facebook post by friends of the victim, the victim went and met up with the man in a coffeeshop in Johor around 9pm on 11th February. An argument happened between them and things got ugly quickly, and in a fit of rage the man robbed her and set her on fire.
The news soon went viral on Facebook, and very soon after the authorities managed to locate and arrested the man.
